Sovereign Bank will never call your cell phone or home phone requesting you change your PIN.  Please be alert that a new phishing scam is asking for this type of information.  Do not respond or give them any information on your accounts.

PIN reset is required every 90 days. PINs must be 6 to 8 characters (alpha numeric) and you may not use your previous 4 PINs.

Cash Management Users: NetTeller ID PIN reset affects all users on the initial sign in. Please notify all users to avoid getting locked out of the system.

If you ever receive an email appearing to be from Sovereign Bank that asks for personal information such as your account number or social security number, do not respond to the email. ALERT:
Microsoft announced last week that security updates for Internet Explorer versions older than 7.0 will continue until September 8, 2010. On September 8, 2010 users attempting to login to online banking with an Internet Explorer version older than 7.0 will receive a message indicating that a browser update is required to properly access the system.
