A newly chartered de novo bank, the company’s inaugural opening was in August of 2004 with a capitalization of $35 million and 350 shareholders. Since opening, the bank has increased its asset base by a factor of 10. Sovereign Bank has multiple branch locations: in Las Colinas at 7301 N. State Highway 161, Suite 130 and in Dallas at 17950 Preston Road, Suite 100, Preston Center, Southlake, Richardson, and Ft. Worth. Two more branches are located in the Austin area .
