1. Overview & Scope
Banksov Financial Services LLC ("Banksov", "we", "us", or "our") is a licensed Credit Access Business (CAB) under Texas Finance Code Chapter 393. This Privacy Policy discloses our practices regarding the collection, use, protection, and sharing of nonpublic personal information (NPI) in compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Safeguards Rule, Texas law, and applicable federal consumer privacy statutes.
2. Information We Collect
In operating our Credit Access Business website, we collect the following categories of PII/NPI:
- Identifiers: Legal name, residential address, email address, telephone number, state ID/Driver's license details.
- Financial Information: Monthly income, employment status, checking account routing/account numbers (tokenized), debt obligations.
- Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, timestamp, referral source, reCAPTCHA security verification scores.
3. How We Use and Share Information
We use collected NPI solely to evaluate pre-qualification inquiries, facilitate loan applications with independent third-party direct lenders, prevent fraudulent application rings, fulfill OCCC record-keeping mandates, and communicate regarding consumer services.
Sharing with Independent Lenders: Because Banksov is a Credit Access Business and not a direct lender, we transmit your inquiry to unaffiliated third-party lenders in our network for credit evaluation. Lenders handle your data in accordance with their respective privacy disclosures.
4. Data Security & Tokenization
We enforce banking-grade administrative, technical, and physical safeguards:
- 256-bit TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption for all transmitted data.
- AES-256 encryption at rest for stored sensitive identifiers.
- Strict Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) restricting employee data access.
5. Your Rights & Contact Information
You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information subject to statutory record retention requirements under Texas OCCC regulations. To submit a privacy request, email [email protected] or call (800) 555-0199.
